A figure going round on social media? Paste it below: we compare it with our verified stories and tell you what holds up.
Each story is cross-checked against independent wires and official publications.
Every number is checked against its primary source (central bank, statistics office, company).
A 0 to 100 score shows how solid a story is: number of sources, agreement, freshness.
Editors validate stories in a review queue before publication and fix errors openly.
